Understandably, personalized items can not be accepted for return. If, however, when you receive your order, it is either damaged, defective, or misspelled, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt credit, exchange, or full refund.
Cancellations must be made by close of the same business day you placed your order. All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt.
Return Policy
The Mail Order Shoppe stands behind the quality of every product we sell.
Understandably, personalized items can NOT be accepted for return.
If, however, when you receive your order, it is either damaged, defective, or misspelled, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt credit, exchange, or full refund.
All authorized returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt. If you received a damaged or misspelled product, please contact RETURNS to receive a Return Authorization Number. Returns received without an authorization number are refused on delivery.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by close of the same business day (5:00PM PST) you placed your order. At 5:00PM, all the day's orders are batch-processed, and we can not cancel/change/modify them after this time.
Per the "Digital Agreement" you signed online, any cancellations not the result of The Mail Order Shoppe, the customer is still responsible for all credit card processing fees. (See below).
If it is before 5:00PM, please use our ORDER CANCELLATION FORM to notify our automated system of the cancellation
I Made a Mistake & Need a Replacement
We understand that everyone makes mistakes (including us!), especially on spelling and dates! Take special care when reviewing your order. Check your spelling, dates and names carefully. In the event that you made an error and need a replacement, we offer it to you at a 15% discount. Simply enter REPLACEMENT (all Caps) in the Customer Code discount box on the online order form. Of course, if we made the error, we will send a replacement item at no charge to you.
Restocking Fee
Due to the high costs of offering secure online transactions, any order that is canceled or returned due to no fault of The Mail Order Shoppe, will be subject to an 8% restocking fee. This is because the credit card servers charge us about 4% of the sale to process the sale, and then another 4% to process the refund.
Digital Agreement
Below is the text from our online order form stating our digital agreement:
By clicking on the 'Submit Order' button, you acknowledge and agree that you have digitally signed your credit card receipt and are legally bound by the policies and provisions of the issuing bank and The Mail Order Shoppe.
Can I Change My Order
You can change/alter/modify your order at any point during the online ordering process.
We use an automated system. As it states on the online order form: "Please proof your item(s) carefully. Once your order is placed, you agree that you have edited and made appropriate changes to your design(s), verified your information, and authorize your credit card. Your order is in process as soon as it is placed. Therefore, we are unable to allow for changes, corrections or cancellations."
Once the automated fulfillment process is started, we can not, even with notification, stop it and/or make a change to it.
This is due to the fact that we receive approximately 15,000 pieces of correspondence on a daily basis. This factor, in conjunction with our automated production process, makes it both physically and logistically impossible to "flag" one particular order and alter it in any way.
